Introduction

Hi everyone, 

My name is Bronwyn, and I'm from Minneapolis, MN and am currently living on campus. I am a senior french and biology double major. I use she or they pronouns, or really any pronoun used respectfully :) 

Obviously I am not majoring in film studies, but I love watching films and discussing them, be it in academic settings or just with friends and family. In high school I took a film analysis class where we watched, discussed, and wrote analytical papers on a bunch of international films, which was a great introduction to film analysis and also the vast amount and variety of films that are out there! So, I suppose I have mostly been interested in/exposed to a lot of international films, particularly francophone international films. I am very excited to expand my understanding and knowledge of film, particularly learning more in this class about the ways that Black, Brown and queer people have been represented in films in the US as well as internationally.
